Despite press speculation of rapidly failing health, Apple CEO Steve Jobs will attend a private meeting with President Obama while the president is in San Francisco, reports Reuters, citing unnamed sources.
Images of Jobs walking into a cancer treatment center, obtained and published by The National Enquirer, are being widely republished on the web. Doctors who don't treat the executive called Jobs “close to terminal” with “six weeks to live.”

Neither physician has ever examined the Apple CEO and made their comments based solely on the photos. The Enquirer regularly runs stories and images of movie stars in their final weeks of life.
Apple doesn't provide comment on Jobs, his health, or work status, Reuters noted.
Jobs and his health battles have made regularly headlines for several years. He is a survivor of pancreatic cancer, a particularly tough cancer to beat, and had a liver transplant in 2009.
Recently, the Apple CEO decided to take a leave of absence, putting the company into the hands of his chief operating officer, Tim Cook.
According to various reports, Jobs continues to work from home.
Obama is traveling to San Francisco to meet with a variety of tech executives privately to discuss jobs and the economy.
