Former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who had sexual-assault charges dismissed in New York last week, will meet IMF staff today at the institution’s Washington headquarters.

Strauss-Kahn, who resigned in May, “has indicated that, on a personal visit to the Fund later today, he would like to have the opportunity to say goodbye to staff,” according to an e- mail sent to employees and obtained by Bloomberg. “All staff who would like to do so can meet with him this afternoon.”

The e-mail, which wasn’t signed, indicated that the meeting would take place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

IMF spokesman William Murray confirmed that Strauss-Kahn is expected to visit the fund “later today” for a private meeting.
