Capital One CEO: Home Prices to Continue Falling

Capital One Financial Corp. Chief Executive Officer Richard Fairbank said the bank is cautious about the U.S. housing market and prepared for a continued decline in home prices.

“Despite some of the recent months where home prices have gone up, I think there’s a very plausible case for home prices to go back down again,” Fairbank said at a Barclays Capital investor conference in New York.
