US Air Net, Revenue Rise as Business Travelers Return

US Airways says it earned $279 million in the second quarter as business travelers returned to flying.

The airline says it expects to turn a profit for the third quarter and the full year, as well.

Revenue in the second quarter rose more than 19 percent to $3.17 billion. Both the profit and revenue were higher than analysts expected.

US Airways Group Inc. is based in Tempe, Ariz. It is the sixth-largest airline in the U.S. based on traffic.
